Description

St. Josephs Hospital, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a Locum Family Medicine physician with enhanced training in Anesthesia. Scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage.

A locum is needed for the following dates (current as of Feb. 16, 2019):

Mar 12-19, 2019
May 13-Sep 14, 2019

Payment: Daily rate of $1500 plus mileage and accommodations.

The successful candidate must have:

- licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
- acceptable enhanced training in Anesthesia (ie: 3rd year residency in Family Practice Anesthesia)
- valid drivers license
- successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to 3 acceptable references and an acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- current Canadian Medical Protective Associationcoverage.
- current, valid legal entitlement to work in Canada. In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to qualified Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
