Description

St. Josephs Hospital, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a Locum Obstetrician and Gynecologist. The position involves labour and deliveries, c-sections, gynecological Surgeries and treatments, and specialist emergency call.

A locum is needed for the following dates (current as of Feb. 16, 2019):

April 15-22, 2019
May 6-13, 2019
June 2-8, 2019
September 9-16, 2019
October 14-21, 2019
November 8-12, 2019
December 19-26, 2019

Payment: Daily rate plus mileage and accommodations. Please inquire for details.

The successful candidate must have:

- licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
- certification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with theRoyal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- valid drivers license
- successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to 3 acceptable references and an acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- current Canadian Medical Protective Associationcoverage.
- current, valid legal entitlement to work in Canada. In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to qualified Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
