Want to join one of Saskatchewans Top Employers? SaskPower is currently searching for a Senior Auditor in our Internal Audit department. The successful candidate will be accountable for development and administration of the organization's program of independent audit as part of the system of providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Corporations operations.  All major processes and systems within the Corporation  including financial, customer service; environmental; human resources; managerial; and operating processes - are reviewed from the perspective of economy, efficiency, effectiveness and control.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, or Engineering or other related equivalent AND/OR;
Professional Auditing and/or Accounting designation AND/OR;
5 years of related experience
Team player with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships both internal and external to SaskPower
Results oriented thinker, with the ability to manage and provide advice regarding complex and confidential issues with sensitivity and professionalism
Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work and manage in a changing environment
Excellent facilitation, project management and decision making skills
Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork
Demonstrated skill in SaskPowers competencies
Must have a continuing record of professional development  

Candidates will also have a good understanding of electric utility operations and the related potential risks and exposures, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, and effective team leadership and project management ability.
