Description

Under Maintenance Manager supervision, develop job plans, schedules and assist with budgeting/forecasting for equipment/assets under his/her area of responsibility. Ensure maintenance-planning activities are carried out within company policy and all Canadian regulatory organizations requirements.  Supervise execution of various maintenance in accordance with all safety and quality expectations. Support Poplar River Mines targets and objectives through collaboration with work groups.
Carry out regular reviews of equipment hierarchy in the companys CMMS (JDE) equipment asset management (EAM) system to ensure equipment is set up correctly and hierarchy is maintained
Assist in developing appropriate replacement schedules for all electrical and mechanical equipment and manage lifecycle of major equipment components
Supervise planned and unplanned maintenance work on draglines, loadout, railroad
Monitor progress and make onsite inspections of maintenance work as required and reviews with mine site management any variances from routines and standards
Oversee the receiving, distribution, recording and posting of work order and various information
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity performance and recommends revisions and changes where appropriate
Assist with the establishment of equipment parts lists, advise material group of required equipment and materials for each planned job/routine
Coordinate with other mine site management in determining maintenance manpower availability for upcoming week. Determines the net capacity during the development of the weekly schedule
Perform other related work as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL SKILLS
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field.
Min. 5 years of related work experience, may include supervisory experience.
