Description

The Lloydminster Interval Home is looking for a Casual Crisis Intervention Worker. A Crisis Intervention Worker is responsible for assessing clients for admission, completing client intakes and discharges, referrals, advocacy, managing household duties, as well as providing telephone and in-person support to women in crisis.  A flexible shift work schedule that includes some days, evenings, midnight and weekend hours is required.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for helping others and enjoys working in a fast-pace environment. The individual must possess confidence in making quick decisions and the ability to build positive connections with others.  They must be committed to empowering others by focusing on strengths. The individual must possess strong computer, written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:
A post- secondary education in a Human Services program, experience working with vulnerable populations and a solid understanding of domestic violence and the effects of trauma is required.  Applicants must also have a clean drivers abstract with a minimum of 3 years driving and insurance history.
