The City of Warman invites applications for
Seasonal Public Works Labourers - 5 Full-time Positions from May 1 to August 31, 2019
Under direct supervision of the Public Works Transportation Supervisor, the Seasonal Public Works Labourer is responsible for general maintenance and cleaning up for the City, grass cutting in alleys, boulevards, lagoon, repairing and installing traffic signs, flagging and directing traffic, assisting in line painting, collecting roadside/alley debris as well as other duties as assigned.
The successful candidates MUST possess a valid, unrestricted Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License. Previous experience in parks maintenance/landscaping or general construction and flagging is an asset. Physical tasks and the operation of light equipment are a requirement for the position as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment. First Aid and/or CPR would be considered an asset. Applicants also require a reliable form of transportation to get them to work.
