The Bankend Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of General Manager to lead our team of motivated and engaged personnel.

With sales of over 9 million, Bankend Co-op provides the community and surrounding areas with services in agriculture, petroleum, hardware and grocery.  
Reporting to the Bankend Co-op board, the General Manager will be responsible for guiding the overall retail to success. As a self-motivated individual, the successful applicant will be ambitious, energetic and hands on with a strong customer focus. The General Manager will be involved in all aspects of management including: recruitment, training, development and performance management.  The successful candidate will ensure success by embracing our values of service, integrity and responsibility.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1.    Interpreting our vision and managing the Co-operatives strategy by directing all aspects of the business
2.    Responsible for administration, co-ordination and control of all aspects of the retail
3.    Ensuring daily success of the retail with a hands on approach
4.    Providing excellence in planning and resource allocation
5.    Developing and adhering to budgets for all departments
6.    Act as a liaison between the community and retail
7.    Superior leadership and overall direction to team members
