Description

Our Hotel Hero is also known as our Bell Person. Unlike many positions within the hotel the Bell Person does not just work in a single department, he or she is the 'go to person' for all areas of the hotel. The successful candidate must be over the age of 19. This is a part time position that will be responsible for our evening and weekend shifts. Our Bell Person is responsible for:

*Assisting guests with transporting their luggage

*Keeping our entrances safe, clean and welcoming by ensuring garbage is picked up, mats are straight, shoveling, sweeping or salting and sanding are completed as needed

*Delivering packages to departments and guests within the hotel

*Running errands both within and outside the hotel such as picking up small items or taking out the mail

*Delivering Pub Service to guests as required

*Conducting some light cleaning duties inclusive of mopping, vacuuming and cleaning windows

*Taking and delivering room service orders and picking up empty trays

*The position we are hiring for at this time is responsible for working mainly evenings and weekends, however, a flexible schedule is a must.

This entry-level position offers a great introduction to the hospitality industry and is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people and loves to keep busy. It offers an hourly wage, above minimum wage, and includes the potential for tips.
