Comp # 2019-018Feb - Member Service Representative I (Casual) - Tisdale (*ANTICIPATORY POSTING)

DEPARTMENT:

The primary purpose of the member services department is to provide a variety of routine cash and non-cash related products and services to members and potential members with accuracy and courtesy. Reporting to the Member Service Supervisor, the Member Service Representative I will process member transactions, deliver effective member information, promote and cross sell credit union deposit services and make appropriate referrals. This is a permanent but Casual position (no guarantee of hours in any given pay period), with scheduling to be determined by the immediate supervisor to the position. The successful candidate will be scheduled both on a Casual (as-needed) basis as well as for extended periods of time when coverage for holidays etc. is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have Grade 12 with Post Secondary education and up to one year related experience.  An understanding of the features and benefits of Credit Union products and services would be beneficial.  

COMPENSATION:                                                                            

This is an in-scope salary group 1 position and membership in the UFCW is a requirement.  Cornerstone Credit Union offers a competitive total compensation package including an attractive employee benefits package and matched pension contributions.  The salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
