Description

The Board of Directors of Newsask Community Futures Development Corporation is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer.  The mission of the corporation is to achieve entrepreneurship in business and communities in northeast Saskatchewan.  The corporation provides specialized services to entrepreneurs through business counselling, loan programs, business information, and provides leadership in community economic development. Reporting directly to the board, the CEO is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the corporation, including the annual operating budget, human resource management, corporate assets, and reporting to the board and various government agencies.  He/she is instrumental in leading the organization and its team to achieve the goals and objectives of the corporation.
As a team player, it is the goal of the CEO to lead the corporation by providing the highest level of service to our clients, actively engaging with our economic development partners and stakeholders, and playing a key role in supporting community business development.
The successful candidate will possess a degree in Business or a related field, and will have 3 to 5 years of experience with similar responsibilities at a senior management level.  The candidate will demonstrate a firm understanding of the banking/financial sector, working with community partners, financial management and analysis, policy development, technology, and human resources management.
