Description

- Responsible for full staffing of Piwapan Women'sCentre and all programs
overseen by the La Ronge Native Women's Council Inc.
- Reports to the Executive Director and the La Ronge Native Women's Council Inc. Board
of Directors.
- Shall maintain confidentiality regarding staff, residents, board and business matters.
- Working in conjunction with the Executive Director and Program Manager, develop
and maintain a Staff Training Manual, Employee Handbook, and Training schedule for all
employees of La Ronge Native Women's Council Inc. and its projects.
- Update all relevant forms for recruitment, evaluation and if required, dismissal of
employees
- Employee Recruitment through job postings when required
- Coordinate screening and interviews for positions that become vacant
- Develop policy and procedure for Human Resources, following Labour Standards
- Assess training needs of employees
- Working with the Supervisors, set up training opportunities for employees
- Mediate complaints/grievances from employees following Policy of LRNWC Inc.
- Coordinate evaluations between employees and supervisors
- Review leave requests, ensuring Labour Standards are followed
- Complete exit interviews with employees leaving voluntarily
- With appropriate supervisor: interview, discipline, or dismiss employees when required
- Keep all policies and procedures up to date with legal requirements
- Develop Team Building Activities and workshops for Staff Meetings
- Update funders on staff changes and other relevant information

At least 2 years experience in the Human Resource field
Business Administration Certificate or Degree preferred
Minimum: Grade 12 with some Post Secondary Education and Payroll experience
