Town of Watrous - Sports Grounds Maintenance

Summary
The individual is responsible for the maintenance of the Watrous Sports Grounds.

Responsibilities & Duties
1.Grass Cutting
2.Shale Maintenance
3.Game Preparation
4.Cleaning and maintenance of the washrooms and concession facilities at the sports grounds.  This involves cleaning, minor maintenance, painting and keeping the areas stocked with necessary paper supplies, soap, etc.
5.Repair damage that occurs to any of the fences or other structures.  Be sure that you report to the Recreation Director any maintenance issues that you are unable to rectify.
6.Keep sports grounds clean of litter and empty garbage cans on a regular basis.
7.Maintain dugouts, which includes sweeping, garbage removal and painting when required.
8.Some weekend work will be required as there are numerous tournaments and playdowns within the ball season.  Time in lieu will be granted for any hours that are worked exceeding 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week.
9.Detailed orientation will be conducted with minor ball representatives and recreation director at the start of each ball season.
10.Grass Cutting and maintenance will also be done in other areas in Watrous as designated by the Recreation Director.
11.Other duties as assigned by the Recreation Director.
