Description

AGI Envirotank Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of steel storage tanks.  We are presently looking for an experienced Painter.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with painting of storage tanks and miscellaneous accessories.
- Experience with internal lining would be an asset.
- Complete understanding of painting equipment, painting and general labour skills.
- Duties will include prep/paint internal and external coatings.
- Be able to maintain a clean work area.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self motivated/ team player.
- Work with/without supervision.
- Shift work.  
- 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be a permanent Canadian resident.
- Successful candidate must be willing to relocate.
- Must be able to read and speak English fluently.

PHYSICAL EFFORT & WORK CONDITIONS:
- Candidates will be required to wear respiratory protective equipment and must comply with all safety regulations regarding the proper fit and use of this personal protective equipment
- Candidates will be required to work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms; stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb and work in confined spaces and inclement weather and support extended hours and overtime as business needs dictate. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
- You will frequently handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items that weigh over fifty (50lbs) pounds
