Core Function: Based in Swift Current, under the direction of the Branch Manager AGI Saskatoon, the Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairs and servicing of agriculture machinery. Working out of a service vehicle and service center, the Field Service Technician will be responsible to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities:
Repair and service a wide variety of portable agriculture machinery
Safe operation, maintenance and inventory management of a service vehicle
In the field repairs on permanent commercial and non-commercial grain and fertilizer handling job sites
Work order creation and repair documentation
Parts knowledge, interpretation of parts catalogues and parts ordering for repairs
Assist in product assembly processes when required
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve repair or assembly problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment
Strong communication skills
Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
Requirements:
Two or more years of agriculture or heavy-duty repair experience
Proficiency in hydraulic system and small gas engine diagnostics and repairs
Clean driving abstract
Exceptional customer service skills
Experience working on commercial sites
A willingness to work unconventional hours when required
Experience working safely near moving machinery or hazardous areas

- Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
