Actionwear Saskatoon is currently seeking a motivated and self-driven Operations Manager. The successful candidate will work with the leadership team to effectively and efficiently manage the development and direction of the company to drive growth and productivity.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for supply chain management,  including all components involved in manufacturing of goods to ensure on time deliveries.  Develop and maintain a production schedule which optimizes plant efficiency based on customer requirements and production constraints. This would include material forecasts, long term planning and logistics of all materials required in the manufacturing process.  The candidate will review processes and material flow, advise and implement cost saving opportunities in all areas of procurement and production.
They also analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Management or related degree or experience
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices, purchasing and a sound understanding of business practices is required
