The Role:
Establish and monitor KPIs for the safe and effective operation of the recyclable material recovery facility and fleet
Assume P & L responsibility including the development and achievement of budgetary and cash flow goals
Maintain market intelligence and industry trends
Represent the organization in the business community
Oversee the plant and fleet managers
Business development and handling of both municipal and provincial requests for proposals and tenders
Strategize with team members to ensure margins are optimized and growth targets are met
HR responsibilities
Occupational health and safety requirements for all labor, safety, and environmental regulations

The Ideal Candidate:
Post-secondary education or equivalent in related field and minimum 10 years progressive operational leadership experience
Experience in waste/recycling, manufacturing and/or transportation industry preferred
Team leader with excellent interpersonal and oral / written communication skills
Strong mathematical, financial and analytical skills
