We are currently looking for an Architectural Technologist who believes in a higher standard, has a passion for detail, quality and accuracy, exhibits strong interpersonal skills, is a team player and simply has a love for "better architecture". We are team of design professionals utilizing the latest technology to maximize efficiency, creativity, and collaboration in an open work environment.
Essential qualifications are:
Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technology program
Minimum eight (8) years post-graduate local experience in design driven preparation of construction documents
Contract Administration Experience
Site experience dealing with Clients and Contractors
Good understanding of building science and detailing
Competent in the following software:
Autodesk Revit
Microsoft Office Suite
Bluebeam Revu
Understanding of the current National Building Code of Canada
Experience with complex renovation projects
Strong command of spoken and written English, especially for technical documentation
Strong collaborative team spirit with the experience and expertise to lead a project team
Willingness to learn and grow their career with the firm
Highly organized, committed, efficient, focused, and detail oriented
The following skills and qualifications are additional assets:
Ability to use Adobe Design Suite and Sketchup
LEED AP Accreditation and experience with LEED and/or Green Globes projects
Knowledge of municipal by-laws
CSC designation (PCD, RSW, CCA, CSP)
Ability to complete cost estimates for commercial and institutional buildings
