POSITION: HARDWARE CLERK SEASONAL
LOCATION: NAICAM AGRO CENTRE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
To be dependable for all scheduled shifts including Saturdays
To provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the customer
To perform general housekeeping duties.
To order merchandise for assigned areas as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
To receive merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
To stock shelves and display merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures including working in a diverse environment.
To operate the point of sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations when required.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and knowledge of building material products.
Must have Grade 12 and have strong Math skills
Valid Sask. Drivers License & forklift certificate (training available)
Ability to work with co-workers and public.
Must be able to lift heavy objects
Must be able to work with computers.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
