The Role:

Manage recruitment and company policies, ensuring all processes are followed consistently
Provide coaching to management regarding employee performance, productivity or behavior based on established policies
Interpreting the Collective Agreement and supporting the grievance process to the second step, seeking a resolution to avoid arbitration
Ensure short-term, long-term and return-to-work processes are handled effectively and communicated to the appropriate managers
Coordinate effective communication and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and national initiatives
Maintaining and building relationships with internal and external customers
Provide HR data /analytics to the leader to support business reporting, planning, and management
Model organizational values and human resources competencies

The Ideal Candidate:

University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
MUST be CPHR designated
Minimum 8 years of HR experience in a unionized environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Extensive LR experience required
A clear understanding of Saskatchewan Employment Standards
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, HRIS and web-based programs such as ADP WFN
Flexibility to react and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
High degree of self-awareness, authenticity, and integrity
