The Melville Veterinary Clinic is looking for a motivated and hard-working full time Veterinary Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! A practice with over 40 years of history and service to the area, the Melville Veterinary Clinic is a progressive and growing rural mixed practice that consists of 2 technicians, an assistant, a receptionist, 2 full time veterinarians and one part time veterinarian. Case load is approximately 65% small animal and 35% production animals with a large focus on bovine services. This job would require the individual to assist and support the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in the everyday work within the clinic, receptionist duties, client education, and helping to maintain a clean and presentable work place. Candidates must be team players, compassionate, have strong communication skills, be organized and willing to learn. A VMA certificate and strong understanding of medical terminology and veterinary medicine preferred but is not required. Wage is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will have a start date of May 21, 2019.
