Description

We are looking for a responsible, casual custodian to maintain the cleaning duties of our facility. Anywhere from 8 to 15 hours per week (days and evenings). This position would also be responsible for full-time holiday coverage.
The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for the custodian, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.
Responsibilities
Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
Wipe down counters and desks
Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets (use of electric floor cleaner in designated areas)
Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towel)
Wipe mirrors and windows
Report any damages
Secure facility after shift
Requirements
Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
Attention to detail and consistent
