Job Description: The Nurse Managers Reporting to the Director of Continuing Care SW or his/her designate. The Nurse Managers are accountable for the efficient and effective operation of health services in the facility by providing overall direction and co-ordination of programs of care, services, administration and education and enforcement of all Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) or regional policies and procedures and relevant legislation requirements.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP)
Valid Class 5 Driver's license
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in a health management position. Clinical experience working with long term care an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Intermediate computer skills
Ability to accept and implement change
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Proven administrative, organizational and leadership skills, strong analytical and decision-making skills, sound judgment and integrity
Ability to manage change - to develop implement and monitor processes and operations
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective teams and maintain relations based on trust, accountability, and open communications
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Ability to assume responsibility and work independently
Excellent public relations skills
