Facility: MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT
Job Description: Provides mental health and addictions assessment, treatment and case management with individuals, groups and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Previous experience in Mental Health and Addictions clinical settings will be an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accept and implement change
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings/weekend as required
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and judgement and ethical behaviour
Ability to effectively counsel and work with individuals, families, and groups
Ability to maintain confidentiality
A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity and responsibility
A solid theoretical understanding of best practice models, current research and relapse prevention including an understanding of family violence issues, including sexual offending, domestic violence, and relapse prevention.
Ability to be self-directed, creative, and collaborative, in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Ability to accurately assess addictions and/or addiction related issues and make appropriate recovery plans and referrals
Ability to function effectively during periods
