Extendicare is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to join our accomplished team of professionals at our 125 bed long term care home in Moose Jaw, SK. We are looking for candidates with a background in geriatric care and health care management.

Reporting to the director of care, you will co-ordinate services for our residents, coordinate staff development in the home, ensure quality resident care and compliance with physician?s care directives as well as corporate and government policies. In addition, this position assists with supervising nursing services, monitoring infections, auditing of nursing process and other duties as assigned.

This is a permanent part-time position - four days a week / flex hours. Wage is in accordance with the collective agreement between Extendicare/SUN. The successful candidate will require a current Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector screening as well as documentation confirming the completion of the Regional Health Authority immunization and tuberculin testing.

*** Applicants MUST BE a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) with current registration.
