Description

The Princess Shop Board of Directors welcome applications from candidates committed to advancing education for female-identified students in need. The successful candidate will work to achieve the organizations mission by creating an enhanced graduation experience, providing mentorship, support, and the tools to pursue success after graduation. Female-identified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
-Criminal Record Check, including a vulnerable sector
-Valid Drivers license

Duties:

Administrative
-Oversee efficient & effective day-to-day operations
-Monthly bookkeeping/invoicing and reporting
-Communication planning/development
-Maintain accurate/confidential records
Volunteer Recruitment/Management
-Assess the need for volunteers to enhance program/service delivery
-Implement effective strategies to recruit volunteers
-Orient volunteers
  
Program Management
-Oversee planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of programs, services & special projects

Revenue Generation
-Prepare annual budget
-Develop resource development plan & prepare funding proposals
-Participate in fundraising activities
-Approve expenditures within authority delegated by the Board
-Administer funds of organization accordingly
-Ensure compliance with legislation covering taxation

Support Board & Strategic Plan:
-Foster team work between Board, Executive Director & volunteer staff
-Assist developing vision & strategic plan to guide organization
-Develop operational plan that work towards strategic direction of organization
-Advise Board on all aspects of organization's activities
-Provide Board with reports on revenues and expenditure of organization
-Prepare new member orientation and board meeting packages
