Description

Westmoreland Coal Company, Canada currently has 4 summer student positions available for temporary, full-time Washbay Attendants at the Estevan Mine.  Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining light and heavy-duty vehicles in the washbay.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties of a Washbay Attendant include, but are not limited to:
*    Washing a combination of light and heavy-duty vehicles;
*    Operating wash bay machinery and supporting equipment;
*    Maintaining a clean and safe washbay;
*    Using and replenishing commercial grade chemicals; and
*    Other duties as required.

Qualifications
*    Grade 12 diploma or GED; and
*    Must be attending post-secondary education in the fall.

Employment will start at the beginning of May and conclude at the end of August.  

This position consists of working 12-hour shift rotations, days and nights.
