Our client has a full-time permanent opportunity available for an Extraction & Processing Lab Manager


Responsibilities
    Responsible for all aspects of the plant extraction and chemical separation process.
    Operate and maintain highly sophisticated equipment, conduct post extraction processing steps, and document all results and analysis.
    Identify and implement the newest technologies to improve process development and workflow.
    Assist in company product formulations of various types with specific cannabinoid ratios.
    Maintain strict inventory and Quality Assurance (QA) records and track key metrics, and report regularly to management.
    Oversee a clean lab environment and maintain immaculate extraction and laboratory environments adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and all -Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
    Ensure all safety standards of Health Canada are met.
    Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) duties that require analytical testing for quality and consistency.  



Qualifications
    Experience in an organic or analytical chemistry lab or plant laboratory environment is an asset.
    Experience using standard laboratory instruments and wet chemistry procedures (titrations, dilutions, etc.) is required.
    Understanding of product development and creation of high-quality cannabis extracts and concentrates required
