Reporting to the Board of Directors of the Waskesiu Recreation Association, you will be responsible for the direction, general management and overall administration of the Recreation Association. You will work with the Board of Directors to refine, improve and develop the goals and objectives of the Recreation Association. You will then implement the processes, practices, and procedures required for the effective operation of the Recreation Association, including planning and then successfully undertaking, programs, and events which provide balanced recreation/leisure services and activities for the visitors to and residents of Waskesiu.  

You are an accomplished leader and manager of programs, events, facilities and people. Communicating with users, staff/volunteers, and community partners is an essential part of your managing skills. A degree or diploma in recreation/leisure studies would be an asset. At least five years experience in managing an organization is preferred. Essentially a manager with knowledge of budgeting, planning, project management, and funding opportunities, you are ready to take on a key role with a community that truly recognizes the importance of recreation, events, and culture.  Experience in the use of Sage Accounting program is an asset, but not essential.
