Description

We have an immediate opening for an Accountant / Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of the company.  

As the head of the Accounting / Administration department you perform various complex accounting duties according to dealership policy and accounting theory.
You are responsible for coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information and communicating summary information for management's use in making financial decisions.
You are the contact for accounting issues within the dealership and you develop, retain, and effectively engage department personnel.

Qualifications:
3+ years experience in financial management or accounting
Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA)
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of accounting systems
Degree or College Diploma in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience
Enjoy financial analysis, problem solving and information gathering
Organized with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ethical and professional with strong decision making willing to take a stand for what is right
High degree of verbal and written communication skills
