Main Function
This position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of various databases and applications to support the Manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
1. Using a variety of computer languages to create, maintain and implement the source code that makes up the application or program.
2. To design the prototype application, indicate program unit structure, and coordinate application plans.
3. Update and expand existing department programs
4. Maintain existing database structures
5. Debug and test department programs
6. Work with department team members to develop and enter machine ledgers and maintenance procedures
7. Develop standard reports for use within the department
Qualifications
1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant computer science major.
2. High proficient in Microsoft Visual Basics for Application, and Oracle SQL.
3. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
4. The following programming skills would be considered an asset. Visual Studio 2015/2017, C#, ASP.Net Web Forms/MVC/Web API, Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, KnockoutJS, Java (Android Development) and other mobile cross-platform frameworks.
5. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, be extremely self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
6. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills; both verbally and written.
