A position is available for an Accountant/Administrator. The objective of this position is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations.
Responsibilities include:
- accounts receivable and accounts payable including sending monthly statements and collection calls as needed
- inventory control
- data entry, scanning, filing
- assist in the development and maintenance of cost findings, reporting and internal control procedures
- assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Success Factors include:
- accurate and consistent financial record keeping
- good communication skills with customers, suppliers, management, staff
- ability to be an effective team member, and/or work independent, depending on project
- learn, understand, and assist in the training of the company software
Education:
- preference will be given to individuals with an accounting or business administration diploma, or are presently enrolled in a formal course of studies
