Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide client education, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs)
- Provide counseling and ongoing management for STBBI prevention strategies including pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP)
- Provide comprehensive contraceptive management including IUD consultations and insertions
- Conduct Pap tests to screen for cervical and anal cancers
- Provide pregnancy testing and management of early pregnancy options
- Maintain client records, follow-up with clients as necessary, refer clients as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
- This position requires successful completion of a graduate level Nurse Practitioner program, with license and registration as an RN(NP) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
- Experience in the field of sexual/reproductive health and community health is an asset
- 1-2 years of experience working as an NP
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse communities (i.e. LGBTQ2S, ethnocultural minorities, newcomers, people with disabilities, and Indigenous communities)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills (i.e. multitasking, prioritizing, managing workload, and ensuring deadlines are met)
