We are looking for a Digital Literacy Specialist to join our dynamic, collaborative team. As part of the pilot project, the Digital Literacy Specialist will take the lead in the research, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of digital literacy programming across all 20 of our branches serving south-central Saskatchewan.
The Successful Candidate will have:
A Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science; or a teachers degree from an accredited Canadian institution or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Proven customer service, communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with digital technology, Microsoft Office and Goggle productivity software
Proven computer, teaching skills and project management skills.
Will drive company vehicle in all types of weather
Valid class 5 Canadian Driving License, with Drivers Abstract.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop courses in, create training materials and instruct participants in:
Using Android/Apple smart phones and tablets
Microsoft Office and Goggle Suite training
E-mail
Social Media
STEAM/STEM programming for children and teens
Other courses as required (eg: online banking, online business)
