NLSD #113 invites applications for the position of a continuing full-time PRINCIPAL/TEACHER
at URANIUM CITY on the north shore of Lake Athabasca, Uranium City now has a population of approximately 200 people. The townspeople still maintain a curling rink and ice rink and there are numerous community activities for such a small community. There are scheduled daily flights into the community from Stony Rapids.

Ben McIntyre School requires a full-time continuing Principal/Teacher.  Ben McIntyre is a K-9 school with an enrolment of 8 students and supported by one paraprofessional.  

Uranium City is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Athabasca.  This is a fly-in community with regular scheduled air service to La Ronge, Prince Albert and Saskatoon.

This is a full-time, continuing position to start August 26, 2019.  The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing, a principals allowance and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.
