The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
General office secretarial/receptionist duties including directing of calls and dealing with general inquiries from students and the public;
Answer/redirect in-coming/out-going correspondence;
Prepare agenda, minutes and reports when required
Providing administrative support as required: typing, photocopying, faxing, sorting/routing mail, and composing and preparing letters from general instructions
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer;
Order supplies and maintain inventory;
Arrange travel schedules and make reservation for staff and management;
Maintain positive public relations on behalf of the Education Central Office.
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Training in Office Administration/Office Education (related training and experience may be considered);
Grade 12 diploma;
Experience in Administrative Assistant duties;
Strong background in computers is essential;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proven interpersonal and organizational skills;
Punctual and reliable;
Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset;
Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
Must be able to provide a satisfactory drivers abstract and criminal record check.
