Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining the records of the operation. It is responsible for the management and collection of revenues and accurate payment of contract agreements, accounts payable & receivable, programming payments, PayPal Administrator, and special event payments, in order to derive the most benefit possible from all assets. This position is responsible for analyzing return on investment opportunities, as well as costing analysis. This position works with DFFH management and the financial services provider to ensure that the highest possible return from any financial transaction is received.

Working with management members, this position will keep track of which expenditures are incurred throughout the project, track the payment of those expenses, and monitor the revenue that is generated from each project.

This position is charged with the responsibility of ensuring management are kept current on the financial status of the organization, including the current pace of income versus expenses. This includes developing and communicating financial updates including monthly & annual reports. This position will develop, implement and maintain internal financial controls, including regular and year-end procedures, and budget/forecasting. Respond to guest or vendor concerns in a timely and professional manner.

This position is expected to have educational background in business administration and financial planning and a minimum of 5 years of related and progressively responsible professional accounting, including job costing, financial analysis and financial reporting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Evenings and weekend work are often required to execute, support and supervise scheduled events.
