Description

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the overall day to day management of Little Pine First Nation Operations including the Administration Building, Health Centre, Day Care, Chief Little Pine School, assist in the administration of accounting policies & procedures, provide guidance & direction in all administrative aspects for Little Pine First Nation & its business investments.  Must have knowledge of First Nation communities, the Cree Language, in depth understanding of Aboriginal & Northern Affairs Canada reporting requirements, have tact & diplomacy in adverse situations.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
Proficiency with Accounting software would be an asset
Experience working with Default Prevention and Management Regimes
5 years experience in leadership/management in Accounting, Finance and Human Resources.
