As a leader in the industry of floor & roof trusses, Gang-Nail Trusses is looking for a positive, energetic leader to join our team as: Truss Estimator/Designer.

Responsibilities:

-Reading and interpreting blueprints
-Producing roof and floor truss placement layouts conforming to current practices and codes
-Designing individual truss and beam components ensuring current loading has been applied
-Generate pricing for estimating purposes
-Dealing courteously with customers, co-workers, and construction personnel to discuss projects or resolve problems

Qualifications:

-Diploma in Architectural/Engineering Technology required, although may be substituted with technical training or industry knowledge
-A minimum of 2 year's of design experience in the truss industry
-Experience with Mitek &/or Rivet software would be an asset
-Strong math skills including architectural units, fractions, and basic geometry
-Microsoft experience
