Description

PRINCE ALBERT EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM
The Prince Albert Early Childhood Intervention Program requires two Early Childhood Interventionists.  These positions are available due to additional funding.

The positions are equal to 1.75 Full-time but there may be more hours soon.  If you enjoy working with children and their families, and want to make a positive impact, come join our team. Our Interventionists provide support to families who have children, birth to kindergarten age, with a developmental delay, disability, or a risk for delay.  We make regular home visits to provide information and support to the family.  Information and ideas may be regarding child development, ideas and strategies for stimulating play and activities, and community resources.  During visits, activities are demonstrated, family concerns discussed, and solutions explored.

Requirements:  Minimum of 2 year post-secondary diploma in the field of Early Childhood (Level 3), Social Work, Education or related fields.  Experience preferred in these fields.  
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:

In addition, you will need to provide a current, clear Police check and Driver's Abstract before being hired.

This position requires someone who is willing, and able, to be flexible and committed to the job. Start date is as soon as possible after interview.
