Description

The Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services (YTCCFS) Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic dedicated individual to fill the position of Governance Clerk.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Executive Coordinator, the Governance Clerk is responsible for assisting the Executive Coordinator with filing, clerical and daily administrative operations of the governance department.  This position will also arrange and maintain all archived and historical files and all political literature of YTCCFS Inc.  The Governance Clerk will assist with the dissemination of information from the governance office and other required assistance and coordination of duties of the Executive Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1)Certificate in Business Administration and twelve (12) months experience OR
2)Grade 12 with twenty-four (24) months office experience OR
3)Thirty-six (36) months experience
    
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and database computer programs.
Knowledge of the Cree, Nakota and Saulteaux culture and the political and social objectives of the YTCCFS Inc. member First Nations.
Demonstrated analytical and planning skills.
Must display excellent written and oral communication skills
Must display excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Must have experience in working with office administration
Must be able to work with minimum or no supervision.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Must be prompt and efficient in completing tasks.
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License a reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to upgrade skills when time and funding permits.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Must be willing to travel
Must sign an Oath of Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
