Position Title:  Diesel and Gas Mechanic

Vacancies: 02

Work Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Saskatoon

Wage Rate: $28-33/ hourly

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day

Education: High School required.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience.

Languages: Basic communication, reading and writing skills of English is required.

Type of Industry Experience: Automobiles


Job Duties:
    Previous experience with gas and diesel engines, knowledge and understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems are required.
    Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles.
    Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes. Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
    Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
    Perform regular diagnostic tests.
    Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
    Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
    Able to work in conditions that include loud noise and fumes, work on and around heavy and moving machinery, bend, walk, stand
    and sit for extended periods of time and use hand tools.
    Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner.
Other essential skills:

    Work under pressure
    Must be able to pass a drug test, have a clean driving record, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and have a positive attitude that works well with others.
