Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Services, this position is responsible for the overall leadership of the Corporations Human Resources Unit.

What You'll Do:
- Responsible for developing and executing an organizational strategic workforce strategy, ensuring it aligns with corporate direction.
- Develop and executes plans including performance management, succession management, talent management, career development, learning and development, recruitment, selection and retention, and employee recognition and appreciation.
- Ensures the human resources system is effective and efficient in its design and operations and functions as a strategic resource for SCICs leadership by providing guidance, advice and assistance in managing and supporting the organizations workforce.
- Provide direction on labour relations and collective bargaining negotiations and human resources information management.
- Provide leadership and management in classification and compensation, employee benefits and employee and family assistance program.

What You'll Need:
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through completion of a degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or Business Administration supplemented with a minimum of 10 years in human resources management.  
Sound working knowledge of the principles and practices of current Human Resource Management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
