Description

Hertz Northern Bus is looking to add a fully licensed Truck and Transport mechanic to our great shop team.
What we offer:
    Straight Days shift (No evenings/nights/weekends).

    Ability to preform meaningful work, helping local students arrive to school safe everyday!

These positions will be responsible for various repairs to S Class vehiclesSchool Buses!
You should have the ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles, follow and track proactive preventative maintenance schedules. Along with being able to perform detailed audits as required.

Qualifications and Requirements
    Possess a valid Truck and Transport Mechanics license.
    Registered and experienced apprentices may be considered.
    Prior fleet maintenance experience is an asset.  
    Previous experience on heavy vehicles would be beneficial.
    Ability to perform Brake and Safety Inspections, and carry out preventative maintenance.
    Ensure all vehicle inspections are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
    Perform and attend to service calls as required.
    Follow and comply with the company safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.
    Execute a variety of additional vehicle repairs, as needed basis.
    Possess and display a strong work ethic, a high degree of responsibility, and accountability.
    Demonstrate a positive attitude and contributing towards good shop morale is a high priority.
