Description

March Consulting Associates Inc. is an employee owned, multi-disciplinary engineering company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. March provides engineering, procurement, project and construction management (EPCM) services to a variety of resource-based industrial and commercial enterprises. In addition to our full spectrum of EPCM services, March has extensive experience in asset integrity and feasibility studies in the mining and utilities sectors  and other heavy industrial  applications.

We are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to either our Saskatoon or Regina office. Reporting to the Mechanical Discipline Lead, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for working with a team in the planning and design of mechanical projects within the mining and heavy industrial industries.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with clients through the full project life cycle from initial site visits or client meetings, to determining project requirements, completing the design and technical work all the way through to the delivery of the final product to the client. Depending on the experience level of the successful candidate, you may also create proposals and reports, manage client relationships and review designs and calculations completed by others.

You bring a Bachelors degree in Engineering coupled with licensing by APEGS (or other provincial equivalent) and 5 or more years of mechanical engineering experience with extensive knowledge of relevant codes. Excellent communication skills are required to build and maintain client relationships and work closely with peers or site personnel. Experience in the mining industry and/or experience in industrial work with brown and green field projects would be considered assets.
