Description

Ranch Ehrlo Society has an exciting career opportunity within its Family Treatment Team. If you are interested in pursuing your career with a nationally recognized family treatment program, we are seeking two part time term Family Treatment Workers.

The Family Treatment Worker [FTW] provides day to day family care functions, including family transportation to treatment appointments, some childcare responsibilities, assistance with household management and basic parenting duties. FTW responsibilities ensure the provision of a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment for all of the families. The family treatment position is centered on ongoing problem-solving and professional judgment. It consists of assessing safety at all times, providing in-home, hands on support to families and making decisions so that family strengths are maximized. The FTW reports directly to the Program Manager.

Hourly wages for full-time employees is $22.70 - $29.35, dependent on experience and education.

Employment Conditions:

Provide a current criminal record background check which meet policy guidelines.
Must possess a valid class 5 novice 2 or experienced drivers license and provide current drivers abstract.
Must be available for shift work which includes days, evenings and weekend rotations.
Education and Experience

A certificate, diploma, or degree in social sciences, or in a related human service field is an asset.
Up to one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or families.
Experience working independently with diverse populations.
