Deep Roots Landscaping Ltd., a locally owned-and-operated company based in Regina, is accepting rsums for a full-time landscape foreman for the upcoming season.
Services provided by Deep Roots Landscaping Ltd. include the installation of paving stones, retaining walls, irrigation systems and water features; laying sod and mulch; and planting trees, shrubs and perennials. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the supervision of site preparation, installation and completion of these projects.
Duties may include, and are not limited to, reporting to management, coordinating materials and on-site activities, as well as supervising labourers.
Manual duties may include, and are not limited to, digging, trenching, shovelling, planting and related landscaping tasks. You must also be able to lift and/or carry heavy weights up to 50 kg.
Experience in operating mini-skid steer, skid steer, mini excavator, one-ton truck with trailer, and other equipment is essential. Minimum two years experience in a supervisory capacity is required. All employees of Deep Roots Landscaping Ltd. must have the ability to work independently, follow instructions, pay strict attention to detail, and work well with others.
There is the potential for snow removal work during the winter months.
A valid Saskatchewan drivers licence with a current driving abstract is required.
Wages will range from $18.00 to $ 25.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and skills. A group benefits plan is offered.
