Description

The Town of Shellbrook is accepting applications for a permanent Facility Manager position.

Shellbrook is a progressive, vibrant community located 30 minutes west of Prince Albert.  We are in the heart of the Parklands within close proximity to numerous lakes and parks.  Our community has many recreational facilities and community organizations.

Under the supervision of the Recreation Director and Chief Administrative Officer, you will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all Town owned facilities.  This position will perform and manage all aspect of keeping the Town of Shellbrooks facilities maintained to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing facilities and training to support the management of town owned facilities and green spaces.

Desired Qualifications
    Completion of Grade 12
    Power Mobile Equipment Train the Trainer
    Possess and maintain: Refrigeration Operators Certificate, Firemans Certification, Swimming Pool Operators Certification
    Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Level 2 Arena Operators Certification or equivalent.
    Thorough knowledge of arenas, pools and buildings including mechanical systems maintenance and operation.
    A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience showing ability to supervise, organize and direct the activities of employees in their crew and work with minimal supervision.
    Criminal Record Check.
