Summer Student JobDescription:
Full time student position (must be returning to full time studies in the fall) to work the window at a concession stand in River Landing. Preference will be given to applicant with previous experience with operating a cash resister, handling cash, making change, and making and serving at an ice cream stand or similar business.
Shift: Starting Early May until Middle/End of September (25-40 hours/week) 4-6 shifts per week. (Weekday and weekend work will be required)
3 Positions Available (1 full time and 2 part time)
Job duties:
-Taking accurate orders from customers
-Operating a cash register
-handling cash and making change
-serving customers orders
-Preparing ice cream cones, milkshakes ect.
-Assisting in food preparation and cleaning of kitchen and areas
Skills and Requirements:
-Must be returning to school full-time in the fall
-Friendly and helpful
-Energetic and outgoing personality
-Food safe handling course or equivalent is an asset but not required
-Previous experience in a similar business is preferred but not required
-Flexibility with work days as shifts will need to vary as needed
- Criminal records check with vulnerable sector check required
