Description:
Full time cook/Assistant manager position at River Landing Snacks. Previous experience in a kitchen is an asset but not required as long as you have post-secondary cooking education. Candidate must be familiar with food safety standards and day to day operation of a kitchen. Great opportunity for a First Year Culinary student as we give you as much control as you are able and willing to handle to understand what it is like to run a kitchen.
Shift: Starting Early May until Early/Middle September (40hours/week) $13.00-$15.00 per hour depending on experience. 11 hour shifts on a rotating schedule. (Weekday and weekend work will be required)

Job duties:
-Cooking and packaging fast food orders on grill or stove
-Responsible for kitchen prep work, this includes making our in house made Ukrainian Food items
-Cleaning of kitchen
-Handling of all food in safe manner
-Inventory and ordering of supplies.
-Supervising front cashier staff and assigning them tasks to assist you as needed
-Helping our front cashier staff with ice cream and snack orders as needed
Skills and Requirements:
-18 years or older
-Must be returning to school full-time in the fall
-Food safe handling course or equivalent
-Kitchen and cooking experience
-Criminal records check with vulnerable sector check required
