Treatment Co-ordinator Full Time/Part-Time
- Excellent opportunity for an experienced dental assistant to expand their duties into treatment co-ordinating.
- Dental treatment co-ordinators explain treatment and the cost associated with treatment. - They also assist with helping patients understand their dental benefits. They use everyday language to explain why treatment is necessary and what specific options would entail.
- Once a treatment is chosen by the patient, dental treatment co-ordinators layout potential payment plans and explain the next steps in treatment. Dental treatment co-ordinators also help determine ways to improve office efficiency and workflow.
- Day-to-day responsibilities as a dental treatment co-ordinator include outlining dental options for clients, interacting regularly with the dentist, reviewing intraoral photos and x-rays with patients, providing cost estimates and answering phone calls or e-mails from patients that have any questions about treatments.
- Must be confident, friendly, trustworthy and be able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Dentrix computer experience is an asset.

*Dental certification is not required but dental experience is necessary.
